What Our Network Installation & Troubleshooting Service Covers

A business network is only as reliable as the way it's installed and maintained. Cloud Networks delivers both halves of that promise: we build networks that perform from day one, and we fix networks that don't — for enterprises, government entities and multi-site operators across Saudi Arabia.

Because we both supply and install the active and passive equipment, every cable, switch, access point and rack we put in is something we stand behind. That single line of accountability is the core of our "We Sell It, We Install It" model — no gap between the company that sold the hardware and the team that installed it.

Our scope spans four buyer situations:

  • New network build — designing and installing a complete LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi and cabling backbone for a new office, branch, warehouse or data hall.
  • Network upgrade or expansion — adding capacity, Wi-Fi 6/6E coverage, new switches or fibre uplinks to a live network without disrupting operations.
  • Break-fix & troubleshooting — diagnosing and resolving downtime, slow performance, intermittent Wi-Fi, packet loss and hardware failures.
  • Ongoing maintenance (AMC) — preventive visits, proactive monitoring and priority support that keep the network healthy long after handover.

Our Network Installation Process, Step by Step

Every installation follows a transparent, six-stage methodology so you always know what's happening, what's been tested, and what you're signing off. This is where most providers stop at "we install it" — we commission and certify it too.

  1. Site survey & requirements assessment — we walk the site, map cable routes, IDF/MDF and rack locations, power and cooling, Wi-Fi heat-map requirements, user counts and growth plans, then translate them into a documented design brief.
  2. Network design & bill of materials — we produce the logical and physical design (topology, VLAN/IP plan, switching and wireless layout, redundancy) and a complete bill of materials, specifying the exact brands and models we'll supply — no surprises later.
  3. Structured cabling & hardware installation — certified technicians install the passive layer (Cat6/6A copper, fibre backbone, patch panels, racks and cable management) to international standards, then mount and connect the active layer: switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points and UPS.
  4. Configuration & optimisation — we configure switching, VLANs, routing, QoS, Wi-Fi SSIDs and roaming, firewall policies and segmentation, then tune the network for throughput, low latency and security best practice.
  5. Testing & certification — every link is tested and Fluke-certified; we run cable certification, throughput and Wi-Fi validation, and document the results. You receive pass/fail certification reports — proof the network meets standard, not just a verbal "it's working."
  6. Commissioning, documentation & handover — we commission the live network, deliver as-built documentation (cable schedules, IP/VLAN maps, device inventory, warranties), train your team, and hand over a network that is fully accounted for. From here, optional AMC support keeps it that way.

Network Troubleshooting & Fault Resolution

When a network slows down or goes dark, the cost is measured in lost productivity by the minute. Our troubleshooting follows a disciplined method rather than guesswork, so faults are isolated and fixed at the root — not patched until they recur.

Common network problems we resolve

  • Total or partial downtime — failed switches, uplinks, power or misconfiguration.
  • Slow or inconsistent performance — congestion, duplex/speed mismatches, cabling faults, bandwidth bottlenecks.
  • Intermittent Wi-Fi, weak signal or dropouts — coverage gaps, channel interference, roaming and AP placement issues.
  • Packet loss & latency — faulty cabling/connectors, failing optics, routing or QoS problems.
  • Security & connectivity faults — firewall/VLAN misconfiguration, loops, and DHCP/DNS issues.

Our diagnostic method & tools

We isolate the fault domain, diagnose by reproducing and measuring the symptom, trace it to root cause, remediate, and then verify the fix under load before closing the ticket. Diagnosis is backed by professional instruments — Fluke Networks and NetAlly cable/network analysers, optical test sets for fibre, and live monitoring — so findings are evidence-based. After resolution you receive a fault report describing the cause, the fix and any recommended preventive action.

Emergency Network Repair & SLA Response Times

For contracted clients we commit to defined response targets so you're never guessing when help arrives:

PriorityExampleTarget responseCoverage
P1 – CriticalSite/network down, business stoppedRapid remote response, fastest on-site dispatchPriority, including out-of-hours on premium AMC
P2 – MajorDegraded performance, partial outage, key Wi-Fi area downSame-business-day responseBusiness hours / per SLA
P3 – MinorSingle device, non-urgent change, intermittent issueNext-business-day / scheduledBusiness hours

Exact response and resolution times are set in your service agreement and scale with your AMC tier.

Which Network Service Do You Need? Install vs Upgrade vs Repair vs AMC

Not sure which engagement fits your situation? This is the fastest way to decide — and we deliver all four under one roof.

Network Maintenance & Support Contracts (AMC)

The best network fault is the one that never happens. Our annual maintenance contracts combine scheduled preventive visits, proactive monitoring and priority response — so issues are caught before they become outages. Choose the cadence that matches how critical your network is.

Brands We Supply and Install

Because we're a supplier and an installer, the hardware in your network is sourced, configured and warranted by the same team. We install enterprise-grade equipment from the brands our clients trust:

  • Switching, routing & wireless: Cisco · Aruba · Huawei · H3C · Ruijie · Linksys · D-Link · TP-Link
  • Firewalls & network security: Fortinet
  • Structured cabling (copper & fibre): Corning · CommScope (SYSTIMAX / NetConnect) · Datwyler · Panduit · R&M · Nexans · Belden · Legrand · Norden · MMC · Bnet

Why Cloud Networks: We Sell It, We Install It

Most network problems start at the seam between the company that sold the equipment and the contractor who installed it. We remove that seam.

  • One accountable partner — we supply, install, configure, test and maintain, so there's no finger-pointing if something goes wrong.
  • One warranty, one SLA — manufacturer warranty plus our workmanship warranty, backed by a single support agreement.
  • Certified technicians — engineers trained on the platforms we deploy, working to international cabling and network standards.
  • Certified proof, not promises — Fluke certification reports and as-built documentation on every install.
  • Kingdom-wide, enterprise-grade — trusted by organisations across Saudi Arabia's government, finance, telecom and private sectors.

Where We Work: Enterprise & Government Networks Across Saudi Arabia

We deliver network installation, troubleshooting and maintenance across the Kingdom — with on-the-ground teams for Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, and project coverage nationwide. Our work supports government and defence, banking and finance, telecom, healthcare, education, oil & gas, and hospitality & retail — environments where uptime, security and compliance are non-negotiable.
